Oak Hill Florida is known as the “Shrimping Capital” of Florida. The most popular spots to shrimp in Oak Hill are around channel markers CM 2, 4, 5, 7, 8, 9a, 9 & 10. Used as a reference point.

My favored place to anchor is just South of Lopez RV Park & Marina on the West side of the channel in 11- 12ft of water, on the Outgoing Tide.

Riverbreeze Park is operated by Volusia County and offers, 4 lane boat ramps, pavilions, shaded playground, benches and restrooms. There is also a nice fishing pier.
