Ormond Beach is a city in Volusia County, Florida, United States.
The population was 38,137 at the 2010 census. Ormond Beach is the northern neighbor of Ormond Beach is the northern neighbor of Daytona Beach and is home to Tomoka State Park.
High Bridge Park is a small one acre place that is basically a place to fish or launch a small boat. It has a nice parking lot as well as a very nice boat ramp that leads right into the Halifax River.
Certainly not a place to hike but it does have some picnic tables and benches as well as public bathrooms.
The main appeal is the very nice boat ramp and ample parking that makes this a great place to launch a canoe, kayak or other small water craft. It also has a really nice fishing pier that goes under a really cool bridge.
One of the coolest things about this park is all the pelicans that hang out here. They are quite tame and you can get right up to them to take a pic and they don't seem to mind in the least.
Not a large park and not a park to get some serious hiking in but a wonderful little place to launch a boat or get to seem some bizarre but very cool pelicans.
You will also find a very nicely stocked Bait shop at High Bridge Park
