Shrimping In New Smyrna Beach Florida for Florida’s Winter Pink Shrimp

Some of the Favored Hot Spots for Shrimping in New Smyrna are at the North and South Causeway bridges, along the sea walls and out on the piers, which are popular for those who do not have boats and love to shrimp. My favored place to anchor is just North of the boat ramp on the West side of the channel in 11-ft of water, on the Outgoing Tide.

The boat ramp is called Kennedy Park Boat Ramp, and is located at George Kennedy Memorial Park, 103 N Riverside Dr Edgewater, FL 32132

Site just across the road from Edgewater's City Hall lies a public site offering chances to see and use the Indian River. George Kennedy Park features boat launching ramps, a fishing pier, pavilions and picnic tables.
