Scalloping In Florida

With scallop season approaching earlier this year  

I think it's time to get the snorkel gear out for inspections and a thorough cleaning.

Make sure the dive flag and collection bags are in good shape.

Check the strap and seal on my mask and that the snorkel is cracked or dried out.

Check out my fins for cracks. Hate to get all the way out to my secret spot :shush: to find that my mask won't seal. Then it's back to the ramp and in the truck heading for the dive shop just to be at a retailers mercy. My gear will get a thorough inspection and anything that is "iffy" will be replaced long before I back the boat down the ramp. Don't forget your uscg safety gear as well.

Check your gear as tho' your being inspected. And last but not least ~ check your fishing license. This is and can be a very intensive list but this is the baic
