The Perfect Tackle Box

Russ - check out Bass Pro.com or Amazon.com. Or just Google fishing tackle box. There's zillions of them out there. You don't have to buy from these people - just look and get some ideas.

I use a tackle belt but I wade or fish the bridge only. For the surf I use a nylon bag with three trays and a shoulder strap.

 

I've done away with carrying a tackle box, I just carry what I need in a bucket. It's easier when moving from spot to spot, I just grab my bucket and go.
I use a sealable container to store my gulp baits, put that at the bottom of the bucket. Then I use a common round live bait bucket (the ones sold with the blue lid that has holes for air) and add all my hooks, line, pliers, scissors, measuring tape. I sit this bucket right on top of the gulp container. Any mess from the gulp goes on the bottom of the bucket and not on my tackle, easy to clean.

And here's the bucket I carry around. Gulp container on the bottom, with round bait bucket on top holding all my tackle.

 

Hey Russ. I picked this up back in December and it works great. Has trays you can interchange depending on the type of fishing, wheels on the bottom a nice long handle that telescopes. All in all it's been a pretty good set up.

It's a rock river. Found it on eBay for $90

 

Glad I could help Russ, the tackle box has worked great for me and it fits on the boat pretty well. I like the ability to change trays and the rod holders come in hand for dehooking tools and pliers.
