I looked up some stuff online and got very confused about lunar stuffz and tides and who knows what else. From what I can gather fishing in Sebastian Inlet will be good (relatively) today from 2:37pm for about 2 hours. Does this sound right to you? And what type of fish am I aiming for if I am fishing from the dock? (T-dock as my family seems to call it)?

    Any advice appreciated!!!

You can catch anything in an inlet, from sharks to bluefish.
Sheepshead like to get around structure, they'll eat shrimp, clams and cut bait. Try scraping some barnacles around the structure to entice the bite. You can also catch flounder on the sandy bottom.
Pompano, cobia or just about any type of reef fish if the venture in that way.
Look on the site for bottom rigs, it will show you how to tie them. The weight will vary with the current.
    Hope this helps.

When fishing from the dock, use the lightest weight possible to keep you near the bottom, otherwise you will be re-tying all day. A red and white bucktail jig is deadly at Sebastian. Just bounce it off the bottom. They are only a buck or 2 at Walmart. Get a few different sizes, so you will be prepared depending on current flow. Both the North and South beaches are very productive if you don't feel like fighting the pier crowds, or if you don't like losing terminal tackle........
