Here it is, almost September. 2 more months and we'll be in search of the winter brown river shrimp.
Question??? Is your shrimping gear ready???
    dip nets in good shape??
howabout your frame net, any holes in it???
lights??? Are your lights working?? Are the clips corroded??
what about weights for your lights and long line clips.
Is your 5 gallon bucket all measured and personalized so we can give you a hard time every time you post a photo of it...
This is the time of year when you should be checking your gear!!
if you need net repairs or a new net sewn on get hold of capt'n Ron before he gets too busy and your only reading reports of our club outings because your gear is messed up.
Call the number or email gator tough if you need lights, or just stop by true value and pick one up.
We have a lot of fun shrimping out on the river all winter, usually with 6 to 8 boats representing the club and numerous full pulls.
So make sure your gear is ready for another season.
    Good luck
    Ken.
