Hello, I am new to the sight and live in Orlando, I try to go fishing as often as possible. I am trying to catch a snook and will call it my moby dick currently. I am from Michigan and since I moved to Florida, I have caught pretty much everything else from inshore without a boat, except a snook. Need some help.

Where are you fishing? You can go down to Sanibel Or Captiva and catch them right off the beach. Drop your bait where the ledge is, literally where you step in the water there should be a drop . Put your bait in right there, make sure you put it a little away from your feet up or down the beach. Catching is always better when and where there isn't a lot of people in the water IMO. For bait I prefer the Greenies or Pinfish. But I'd go live bait.

They are catching a few down at Sebastian Inlet also.

Thank you for the info. I usually fish around port orange, ponce inlet, daytona, New Smyrna, or Titusville. I drive from Orlando area and don't have a boat or yak either. I have been wanting to try sebastian inlet for some time, so maybe this Sunday fingers crossed, that my better half doesn't have anything planned yet. Thanks again, I really appreciate and will definitely use and take all the advice I can get.
