We haven't been out much - just ARS Saturday and inshore this past Saturday.

The fish are making us work for them - anyone else finding the fishing to be "wanting"?

I haven’t been getting out near as much as years past. 1-2 days a week at most. Fishing has definitely been tougher and harder to find around here. Only went out about four hours this morning and only managed a few small snook and some jacks.

It has been an odd summer!
Took my grandson to the pier at that small park under the Hebert Humphrey bridge and caught a half dozen Spanish Mackerel...cant recall ever catching them that far north in the river.

I’ve caught them a couple times over the years here in Flagler. 16 miles either direction to the nearest inlet. Always surprises me when I happen to get one.
