    Sam,
The TM comes with what they call a "puck". Like a hockey puck.
Drop the motor over the puck, install U bracket, plug it in!
Mount it directly to the hull or on a bracket depending on boat/location.

looks like you installed the puck on a Aluminum platform, bolts, washers, locking nut? etc?

    Sam,
Yes, Aluminum. 1" thick by 10" wide. Stainless bolts, nylon locking nuts.
Had to change out the "starboard" plastic bracket. 120lbs of thrust made it look
like a Pringles potato chip under the power of the TM. I was afraid to try
the anchor lock program again after one blast at full thrust. I could make it
flex up on half speed. The Rhodan has 32 forward speeds and 16 in reverse!

Now that was a good description Thumbsup1:::1. Also looks like a starboard wedge sandwiched in?

Looks solid, where would one get a 1 inch think of Aluminum plate at? some of us live out in the boon docks where none is to be found.

OK...that is one impressive looking set-up. Congrats on getting everything installed and up and running. Looking forward to hearing reports about how incredibly happy you are with it!

Patay Wagger That puck is the same mount that my MotorGuide has and I love it. The only thing is it makes it real easy for someone to steal if left out overnight.

So when does the nuclear powered version come out? I’ve got the “old” fashion 24 volt model. What will they think of next?

    Hi Sam,
    Alro Metals Outlet-Winter Springs.
They have a warehouse full of stainless, aluminum and steel material.
Walk-ins are welcome and they will cut what you want while you wait.

Yes, I leveled the aluminum plate w/a wedge of starboard.

Very nice TM and installation. Are you sure on your math for the amount of time at full thrust? I service generators and deal with batteries in parallel and in series. I thought when in series like your configuration, your calculation should be 97.6/47= 2.076 hours. If your TM was 12 volt and you had 3 batteries in parallel your calculation of 6.2 hours would be correct.

Those are some very good batteries that you have. I have seen them last 10 years on a generator with a float charger.

So how did it work and how long did you run it?

Nice! I have a 22ft bay boat with a Rhodan 72” 24v set up with a trollbridge. This past weekend was the first time I got to use the anchor system for an extended period of time and I got about 6hrs each day I went out with no issues at all. Both days the lowest the batteries were drained was 1/2. But they charged back fairly quickly between fishing spots thanks to my trollbridge.
How have your results been so far? How many hours have you been able to anchor in 1 spot with such a beastly boat?
