Sons First Fish 5/26/17

My son and 4 years of age and he has reeled in fish that I have hooked several times. With the heat of the days and the patients of a four year old it's really hard to get him out fishing in the boat.
Lately after work we have been going to a local pond on a golf course in the neighborhood about 60 min before dark, we have done this a few times until he comes up to me and says he wants to fish with his own pole.
Well Friday night I took him out with his ugly stick junior he picked a purple in color power bait worm and I unleashed him, I stood by and watched him cast his pole all by himself, then watching him hook into a bass and fight it in is one of the proudest moments I have experienced, my son caught two small bass all by himself Friday eve and it makes me so proud.
I just want to share this story because now I can relate with all the other dads who have had this experience.
I have created a perfect monster he wants to fish every evening, the wife don't have a problem telling me I can't go fishing but she can't tell him no so it's a win win.
