    I caught the first six on live shrimp then ran out, only bought a couple dozen. Since my freezer is full of shrimp, I planned on seeing if local frozen shrimp would work on whatever happened to be biting and, fortunately, it did.

    Didn't try anything else. Had some frozen mullet with me (also from my full freezer) but didn't get around to trying it, the bite was too good on the shrimp and I couldn't freeline it because I was almost on the beach so the bait would have lain onshore and just caught birds. Also had some DOA with me but didnt get around to trying it. Should have put a doa on a jighead and tried it, in retrospect... Haha, was just too busy trying to hook these guys and didnt think much about changing bait.

    Why should you? You just got 10 gallons of shrimp in the last week or so! Think you might have some bait leftover still in the freezer! Smiley Laughing024::1
