Sounds like a fun hunt - That's cause the guest just goes and shoots a deer as opposed to trying to outsmart said deer! You have to sit in the stand no-one wants to hunt in order to get the biggest buck.

I rarely carry binoculars when deer hunting in GA/FL - my standards are lower than yours. No grunt calls or such cause I can't hear if they respond. Everything is about visibility for me - that's probably why the western hunt is so appealing.

Had a crazy day - parents in soon, stocked their fridge and spread 10 bags of mulch to surprise the momma, she likes those flower beds. Then to work.

Just got home about 11 pm from work - gonna go load those remaining 20 rounds and have a glass of wine to go with my mucinex & flonaze. LOL!

2 days to go and I'm not close to being packed but it'll all come together and work out just fine...

Sorry about the Aerial photo - it's not my area to share. The terrain is flat as a pancake with erosion gullies and canyons, also a mesa that I have to climb and glass down from when hunting that area. I should have a few on the ground pictures once I get back that can share.
