Gator Hunt Lake County St. John's Near Debary On 8/16

    2 Days in 2 down! 1st one at 10'1" and the biggest Gator we've ever landed last night around 9pm Harpooned him on the fly and the battle was on!! It took all 3 men on the boat after he drug us boat and all 100yrds upriver before we could finally set him to surface and we set eyes on him! He saw us and it was on again! He finally settled to the bottom of the River and we pulled him to the top and a well place 12ga Slug to the sweet spot and the celebration began! We had to drag him to a beach as we couldn't get him in the boat deep water style even in shallow it was all we could do to get him in! Only measured 12'4" long but the biggest knarly head and body! 26" wide mid back and easy 800lbs as he topped out the winch at the processor.
