Oh, 7 posts since Nov 2015 because, as I said in one of my few posts since joining, we are in the process of moving from Woodstock, GA to PCB, FL. I will be participating more as we get settled. Our boat is in the garage and hasn't been in the water yet since buying and remodeling our PCB home. We would love to come one of the shrimp/fishfry/learning picnics, but we just can't travel yet. All good things in time. Not angry, just aggravated at that 5 post rule. Cheers.

you need to look at things from the side of members that are porting reports of their catches. The only reason members feel comfortable posting reports of their favored fishing holes is the fact that we only make reports available to actively participating members. If we had open reports available to the general public, no one would join and no one would be posting reports, and we would be just another dead forum with no one posting any quality fishing reports.

The minimum post requirements are only five posts in a 30 day period which is actually a reports forum Security that protects members that are posting reports.

The rest of our over 100 forum are open to the general public that anyone can read without any minimum posts.

  3. The minimum can easily be attained in just a few short minutes each month by logging on and welcoming 5-6 new members. It lifts and gives new members a sense of acceptance while covering you. There are numerous ways to contribute to the club with posts that don't demand you actually being on the water. Best of luck with your move, remodeling can be a chore (done that).

I'm a newbee here but like the 5 per month minimum. It helps keep the forum active and current.

The club works fine the way you running it plus security, If a member can't post 5 or more post then that member don't care much of the club. Keep up the great job your doing SAM, great club to be in..:awesome::amen:....
