Scouted this past Sunday - found a little Pygmy and a 4x8 area the deer were pawing at.

Hung a camera at the paw zone - many deer tracks right thru it. Calling it C'mere Deer but no idea why they like it. This area was flooded for a long while this summer...

Those Pygmy are some aggressive little snakes and are nothing to play around with. Usually when you find an area that has been pawed up 4'x8' is from two bucks that have been fighting, and is a good area to spend a little more time around because bucks will frequent that area more often.

There are many, many buck rubs around there - so many and just "everywhere" that there is no rhyme or reason to them. Can't seem to figure out where the deer bed or even how they travel through.

This spot is also the intersect of 3 or 4 trails - real thick area. Checking cam on Monday or Tuesday.
