Snapper Ponce Inlet

    Hi everybody! Looking for big snapper and been to all the usual spots including party, steeples but didn’t know if there could be better? Thanks for any help

    Thanks, great info, like you posted we prefer the natural reefs. Will follow maps and find one we can fish.

    look at my screenshot. look for the fish (not the bait)

    these are all large red snapp bladders. 33 ft to 63 ft range
    the smaller ones are on the bottom.

    use large live baitfish.

    Hoping to get fish in the 30-34 inch bracket (maybe 15-20#).

    The proposed 2 ft at 3 seconds from the SE on Friday might beat the crap out of us. My boat really isn't made for that. Have to see how it looks and maybe troll some lures all the way out. Takes a couple hours to get there that way.

    Lotsa sharks - don't get stuck playing the fish, it might get ate.

    Very nice. Thank you for this. Plan to find some shallow structure on way out for some live bait then out to deeper water.

    some of the close man-made reefs have red snapper.

    Yupper! I cant get out to the natural bottom.
