How to make a Kayak Battery Box with built in Battery Tender Charger connection. (no need to remove the battery for charging)

I decided to use a pelican Dry box and put the battery inside the pelican box.

I needed to drill a wiring hole but instead I thought it would be better to Take out the Pelican box air purge and use the drilled hole for the wiring.

The hole was slightly over-sized so I added shrink wrap around the wiring to make a snug fit.

That I needed to add a waterproof quick disconnect through the hole
Put shrink wrap around the wiring so it fits tight in the hole.

Than I added a water proof fuse holder, along with battery quick disconnects

Battery fits perfect in pelican box

Now I needed to run wiring to the Fish-finder and my Live-well, so I made a custom wire that will power the Raymarine Raymarine a78 Wi-Fi 7" and the two Air Pumps.

I simply soldered two lengths of wiring together and covered with heat shrimp wrap. One section of the wiring goes to the fish finder in the front of the Kayak and the other goes to the back of the Kayak

I will connect the livewell too, and also use the power outlet to charge the battery when it is still secured under the deck of the kayak using a Battery Tender, no need to remove the battery for charging.

Using a quick disconnect power outlet ( simply drill a hole into the Kayak and install the quick disconnect power outlet)

Battery Tender, just plus in the wall outlet and the power outlet on your Kayak

This (Battery Tender 081-0069-6) two pin Terminal Harness will connect the power outlet to the battery wiring.

you will need to cut off the ends and solder to the batter wiring.
