    DIY Bait Prep Station

Decided to make a large cooler / deck / dock bait prep station, they sell for $229.99 at west marine.
    http://www.westmarine.com/buy/magma--tournament-series-fish-cleaning-station-48--16793218

I bought a 1/4 sheet of 1/2 inch starboard for $55.00 and another $4.00 in SS screws and a marine canvas snap kit for $8.00 to hold the Prep Station on the top of the cooler.

First I measured three time and cut once...

Then measured every two inches for the screws and drilled the screw holes

Screwed it together and Placed on cooler

    Upside down over cooler

Placed behind cooler on boat for storage,

Moved cooler prep station in front of motor compartment, motor compartment to be used as a seat when prepping bait

Still plenty of room to walk around while fishing

Wow! Very nice job and REALLY impressed. A lot higher quality materials than what WM is selling. Fits perfect between the cooler and the boat. A+ on this DIY. :Flipper:

Added some quick disconnect snap straps by taking some straps that I had from my Kayak Cover, cut to size and melted the ends so they do not fray, then attached some snaps to hold the bait prep station firmly in place.

Added two to the back side of the bait prep station
Added two to each side of the bait prep station

Sam where did you purchase your 1/4 sheet of 1/2 inch starboard for $55.00? I want to make a tackle box and attach it under my leaning post. Thanks

That's a nice setup you've got there! Thanks for sharing.
