Boat Build Part 2 / Transducer Install / Lowrance HDS Gen2 / StructureScan,

Using a hole saw, I Drilled opening for Transducer Cables...

I Smoothed off edges and round out the screw hole before you drill or the drill bit will chip the gelcoating...

I Run the Cables through Cable Clam, then Screwed in place

Using a snake, I snaked the Cables through boat floor to Center Console...
Use Zip Ties with tape so the cable don't come off while pulling to console...

I Pulled out of floor in center console

I then put through cable harness..

I measured and leveled, then Drilled and install Transducers

NOTE: Round off drill holes before you use a drill bit then drill the holes, this will prevent the gel coating from chipping...

Pay attention to measurements at every point... so you don't make a common measuring mistake...

    DSC02209.JPG

Using a Level, I marked a straight line for the cable run...

    DSC02210.JPG

I then drilled and attach the cables

I use 5200 on all drill holes, then screw in place...

    That's about it...

Next will be hooking up the power block and cables to the Lowrance HDS Gen2

Hope this helps all you DYI'ers

    Thanks

    Sam
