    the larger offshore Mangroves spook easily, That's why you use a 10-15 ft 40lb leader. I would not be using a glow bead that tells them (here is my hook).

    Well they have their moods, once they're aggressive, they'll hit anything particularly at night. But it's just an observation from watching their videos on youtube and the rigs I see folks using. But yes, when their lockjawed, you have to be as stealthy as possible. But just for good measure, I tried it the other night and caught a nice dogtooth snapper, so you never know! Experiment with it.

    I've found that I seem to get more shark bites when using a glow bead.

    Well at least you know what to do to target them or avoid.
    We don't have problems with sharks over here, they eat em...lol. The problem would be a shortage, for ecological reasons of course.
