Pretty good action to go with the beautiful day. 8 Reds with the largest at just under 20”. 8 small Snook, 5 Trout, and several Ladyfish. Missed twice as many as I hooked. Lots of quick hit-and-spits and smacks. Not yet the cold weather pattern but getting there for sure. Bouncing the VuDu shrimp on the bottom outperformed the paddletail with all except the Trout. The Snook hit both with no preference but I got better hookups on the exposed hook of the shrimp.
Lost the biggest Trout I’ve had in years… well over 20”. Should have used the net and would have had a pic…
Topwater action seems to be dead with the cooler weather.
Low Tide: 8:00am, High Tide: 3:00pm
Temp: 68@8:00, 78@3:00
Water Temp: 66 to start, 73 later
Wind: 8-12 mph, sunny
Barometer: 30.23 at 8:00 and rising to 30.27 at 10:00, then starting back down again at 11:00 to 30.19 at 3:00
