New Yaks 8/21/17

    Bought new sit on top with rod holders so we had to try them out. On the water by 07:00 at Eldora Road site 7. Wanted to try a top water but the wind didn't agree with that strategy. Switched to DOA Cal, white shad and green shad, had some luck fishing Ragget Gap and east of there. Had a few small snook and some nice fish for the lunch box. Trout 23.5" (It cureled up I really think it was 24" Thought I had hooked some real estate but it was moving!!!!!). 16" and 15" trout, 20.5" Red, and a big smile from both of us. Quite a madian outing. When we came back to the landing it was around 2:30 Park employees just put in some improvements for the Kayak ramp and loaned us the glasses to see the eclipse. Very nice guys and doing get work so we can enjoy the water. Talk about timing.
