has anyone gone on the party boats? I looked online at the one in Ponce inlet and there were quite a few negative reviews. Are there better ones near by?

I was out on the Critter Gitter about six years ago in the middle of August. It was hot, not much caught but the crew was helpful. If you go out on her bring a cooler with water or other liquid refreshments. Can't say anything about the boat now, it's been a while. Decided that party boats just aren't my style, rather be out on my own boat instead or fishing off the shore.

I never been in a party boat but I have many friends that have couple times. They all agree that if you are going just for fishing, you will have a horrible time. The boat is crowded, the lines get tangled, free food is bad, bait is the cheapest, and people with seasick all over.
However, If you are going with friends to have fun and maybe come back with fish, you will have a great day. Just try to take your own live bait with you.

If you decided on going, let me know when, maybe ill give it a try myself with you.
