I went out from 6:00-1:00. Breezy, some clouds and a little rain. Did ok, about like the last couple trips. Brought in half a dozen small Snook and lost that many swinging them into the kayak. Lots of taps and bumps by the little guys. Quit trying to be careful bringing in the small ones… Three Reds at different spots. A pinch point on a wide creek way back in with a shallow spot, produced the first red and most of the snook. They were still biting when I moved on in search of something bigger. Two were exactly 18.5” but one was very bright copper and the other super dark. The third was about 14-15”.
Spooked a nice big Red on a point on the way home when I went around a corner. Scared me too with the unexpected huge splash right next to me trying to get out of the mud and past the yak.
Passed one guy coming and going that was in the same spot soaking bait and appeared to be catching nothing.
    Low Tide: 8:45am, HighTide: 3:15pm
    Temp: 76@6:00, 80@1:00
Water Temp: 77 to start, 80 later
    Wind: 10-12mph, partly cloudy
30.12 rising to 30.14 at 9:00, when it leveled off until 12:00 before starting down again.
