    Back in the gheenoe this morning, only trolling motor though I'm still waiting to hear from John at motorworks about my outboard. Launched at the middle ramp and started throwing topwater. After a couple missed strikes I hook a good fish, I was thinking snook the way it was thrashing but I finally see its a big trout. I would have released it but ripped it's throat up with the trebles. Oh well frying pan it is. Kept at it, missed a couple more strikes but then my plug gets demolished, nice snook on. He ran at the boat and then decided to jump right in haha. A couple inches short so back he went. Tried for a little while longer but the tide shut down. Off the water by 815. Glad to be back in the gheenoe but it will be even better when I'm zooming around with my motor.
