4th Of July 2017 Scalloping Crystal River

    Hit it again today with Denise and Doug, Erin and Rich, and Ola and myself. Out at 6 am, gas and coffee. Hour and a half drive and 45 minute ride out in the river to the 1st spot which rocked...!!! We all did really well. 2 and 3 at a time along with the occasional 4, 5 or even a few 6s. We had our limit by 11:00 am

    Nobody to any pictures of the scallops but I did get a pic of the cleaning

    Lot of scallops in the bowl and a ways to go yet.
    Go to love living in Florida.
    I'll be in crystal river all of next week scalloping and diving. I'm bringing the drone and the GoPro so watch for some really cool pics( I hope)

    Wow, I am so jealous, that looks like a hell of a lot of fun. Sounds like from all the reports I have been reading, that the scallops are really thick this year. Great!
