Kayak Hoist

Kayak Hoist

  1. Nautical Gator
Dutton-Lainson Company (WG1500SR) Worm Gear Winch with Split Reel - 1500 lb. Load Capacity

    Kayak Garage Hoist

Kayak fishing is great, and kayaking is a great sport to get out there in the skinny waters of Florida's back country.

But with Kayak ownership comes the problem of where are you going to store your Kayak?
After researching Kayak storage and Kayak hoists and with all the kayak hoists on the market most if not all are for light weight Kayaks up to 70 lbs, with the Hobbie Pro Angler Kayak weighing over that I needed to find a way to hoist it up off of the garage floor to save on floor space.

I have found a great winch hoist from etrailer that will winch up to 2,000 lbs so it will clearly work great for Kayaks and other heavy items
