    Justin's Fishing Lures and Tackle

Want to know what to add to your Tackle Arsenal, get the tackle that our members are using with great success!

Justin joined our forum and quickly moved up in the ranks by becoming an active participating member, he fishes from a Kayak and catches lots of nice fish and all his fishing adventures. His form name is "The Nasty Hooker"

Justin has spoke at our clubs fishing seminars, conductiing a inshore fishing seminar on using inshore lures, listed below.

When Justin posts a productive fishing report, everyone know that The Nasty Yaker Strikes Again and he gets the below award.

I have put together a list of his favored baits below.

Justin stated in one of his posts:
By far the most productive lure was a DOA Shrimp (2.75" or 3" model) in the glow/gold glitter or rootbeer/gold glitter colors. Second best by a slim margin was the DOA CAL 3" Shadtail in the same glow/gold glitter color.

Justin stated in one of his posts:

After the last few years of throwing more and more DOA lures, I thought it might be cool to try throwing DOAs strictly as my only choice for artificials this coming year.

I tried the big bite and zooms baits, but have pretty much settled on the DOAs. DOA has just about everything that I need with the exception of the occasional Zara Spook Jr for topwater.

    Get Justin's Selections Here:

    Topwaters=

    • DOA Shallow Baitbuster
    • DOA Airhead with unweighted hook
    • DOA Chug Head on CAL paddletail

    Subsurface=

    • DOA Shrimp 3" and 4"
    • DOA Shrimp 2.75"
    • DOA Baitbuster Sinking model
    • DOA CAL Shad tail on 1/4oz jig head
    • DOA BFL 5.5" swimmer

    Bottom=
    • DOA Terroreyz
    • DOA Baitbuster Trolling Model
    • DOA Swimming Mullet

Should cover all of the bases right?

So my color rankings would probably look something like this (for snook, reds, trout):

    1) Glow & gold glitter (any DOA)
    2) Greenback & silver glitter (3" CAL shad)
    3) Rootbeer/gold glitter (Shrimp, Terroreyez, 3" CAL Shad)
    4) Black/Silver glitter (Airhead, Baitbuster, CAL)
    5) Chartreuse (any DOA)
    6) Red/White (any DOA)
