What do you do when these nuts are on very tight?
I don't want to break them?

Also when I get them off, what do you use to stop the Gear lube from coming out?

Let the PB Blaster soak in a couple of days Gator. Line wrench get's a better hold than a regular wrench.
Flare nut wrenches are designed for the flare nut fitting on fluid or gas lines. ... Honestly, an open ended wrench can be used the same, However, they just don't offer as much surface grip on the fittings which increases the likelihood of damage.

Good suggestion above. Also while soaking in PB blaster take a punch and hammer and tap on the nut repeatedly. Try tapping so as to jar loosen then tighten back and forth and in different directions. Don't whale on it and distort the nut. If the heat gun doesn't work try a butane tourch, but be very careful. Use flare nut wrench, try tightening then loosening. It looks like 1/4" pipe Thread. Get a couple 1/4" pipe plugs to keep the fluid from leaking. If you are not in a hurry you can measure the seal bore and depth and shaft size with calipers and call motion industry and they will have stainless seals. They will mail them to you. They have o-rings also. 407-298-0380.
Btw, if you mess up the casting threads you can take a pipe tape and cover it in grease then tap the hole an 1/8th to 1/4 turn to fix the threads and not drop metal chips into the reservoir.
