I will try my best to be there. I should be able to. I had a great time meeting some of you at the mangrove cookout.

New members should definitely do whatever is necessary to attend this event! Outstanding Fishing and Shrimping instructions from local experts. Meet other club members that share their outings and adventure with us on the forums. If you new to the area and have ANY questions about fishing or shrimping you need to come. Free information is Priceless! Not to mention, be real careful or you'll make some new friends.

This is definitely a to do event. I am trying to arrange my schedule as we speak. I will be coming from the west coast so is there a hotel/motel anyone could recommend?
    THANKS

Closest, decent and near several restaurants Tom. I-95 exit 244. Go east to US-1. Hotel is on the N/W corner of US-1 and SR-442. (Indian River Blvd.)
    Hope this helps.

Thanks Google Eye. I appreciate your timely response and it did help. My knee surgery went very well, so I should be able to make this except for company visiting from the frigid North. Need to work out those details. Thanks again. This being my first one does everyone bring their own boat and gear then use the Tournament to put those new skills to work. That's how I am seeing it. I know not everyone is on the same learning curve. haha

Thanks Just thought I would ask. So I better take good notes during the Shrimp bootcamp. If teaching and club comradery is the primary purpose I might be a good idea to have experienced Shrimpers team up with dummies on their first trip out because hearing how to do it and putting that information into practice in the dark is a far cry apart. This is just an idea.

  11. Will try to make the event on the 14th. Question: are there tide charts on this site? Including Oak Hill and Haulover?

Will be there with a couple of friends. Im planning to bring some egg rolls but it is good to eat it as it comes out of the fryer for crunchiness as supposed to saggy. Wondering if i can just fry it at the event. Ill bring some oil to use. Do you have a fryer pan i can use there Sam. If i fry them at home ut will be saggy when it gets there. You can still eat it but wont be as good as the crunchy ones. Let me know and thank you in advance.
