Crayfish, Crawdads, Mudbugs Question

Crayfishing Question


So up here in the North I love to crayfish, so I figured down there I could do it year round. But I could not find any regulations for Florida. Like on trap size and any of that info. If someone can point me in the right direction that would be awesome.

Ok I finally found the answer no real regulations short of a few that you cant take.

So does anyone here go for these? I love them a crayfish boil YUMMM

 

Well IMHO they are better then shrimp and a hell of allot easier to catch. 5-6 traps over a weekend can get you 50-60 pounds of crayfish. Depending on the body of water.

But heck that just means more for me LOL

thanks I have been doing some research and they are there, just not as popular as where your from Michael. thanks for the advice up here I start getting them in June-September. Mostly rivers
But I have been watching some YouTube videos of them catching them in Florida. But I hear you with the Shrimp and Lobsters, just those you have to work for them the Crayfish is dang easy. I even purge them in a kiddie pool to get all the grim and mud out of them.

Just cant wait only 14 weeks left until the move
