Getting ready to drop an application for CO mule deer.

Also thinking about preference points in WY but that's July.

Not next year but for sure sometime in future years after some research.
    Good luck in Colorado.

    Thanks, Mak!

Figure out which state you want to go to and start getting preference points if they don't have over the counter licenses. 3-5 preference points can make a big diff in the quality of areas you can hunt, or the season. If you want to hunt Iowa for whitetails, 3 points will get you a licence.

Nuts how the supply and demand is for some areas.

CO application period is currently open. Shuts April 2.

They changed some stuff around - cost a NR hunter $100.75 to apply for a mule deer tag, $110 for elk and mule deer, $120 for mule deer, elk, antelope. Then you get to buy the tag after you draw.

New price structure for moose, sheep, goats - yes, price went up a bit.

SO - if you want preference points for mule deer, might as well add elk for the $10 more. $110 for 2 pref points or $100 for 1.

Go figure this is the year I decide to do this... LOL!

Thumbsup1:::1 That will be almost as fun planning and preparing as will be the actual trip. Great news.
