How to Measure and post Shrimping reports

First get a Five Gallon Bucket

Take a five gallon bucket and measure it by pouring water in the bucket one gallon at a time, and put a mark at every gallon level... five gallons is about one inch from the top of the bucket.

Then take some photos with you holding your shrimp bucket like this

All this information is extremely helpful when I tally the monthly shrimping totals for the club. May I add - If multiple days are posted in one post, please indicate the catch (gallon) size for each day...Thanks!

I'm so glad I read this post. It wouldn't have occurred to me that you could put more than five gallons of shrimp in a "five gallon" bucket. It makes sense, but it's a detail many would no doubt overlook. Thanks for the heads up!
