There is another event taking place on 1-10-15 out of riverbreeze. It may not be the best idea to have two water events on the same day from the same ramp. It could get a little crowded at the ramp and in the parking lot. My vote would be for Sunday 1-11-15.

Ok. That makes sense. Sunday is good for me if it's good for everyone else. Let's do this and have some fun.

    Jim,

It will always be like that around the moon events. With 3 different shrimping clubs in the area the weekend moon events will always be heactic at the ramps. Not even mentioning the other non-club shrimpers that will be out. I say we just go for it on the 10th. We'll be in our own area anyways.

It might be a little tight on the 10th, how does the 11th sound to everyone?
We can get there a couple of hours early do a quick meet and greet and get to shrimping and technique.

If we decide on the 10th, keep in mind that another club will be there having a bar b Que.. There will be a lot of boats and parking might be tight.
We can still do this successfully and have fun.
I'll be getting there a little late due to my new work schedule but this shouldn't hamper the the other member from helping the new members.
Let me know what you guys think and lets do it.

I plan on being there with shrimpforbrains. I will plan on launching before it gets dark to try to avoid some of the crowd at the ramp. Sunday the 11th doesn't work for me with early morning work the next day.

Let's plan on a shrimping trip with the members on the 10th and probably 11th for whoever can make it. Anybody who is in need of some instruction or just a few tips to become more successful feel free to ask any of the members, that's why were a club.
As for the instruction and demonstration part of it lets try the 25th which is the next best tide times. We'll be better organized and I'll have a better idea of who's coming and what they'd like to learn.

For or the trip on the 25th I'd like anybody who is interested in going, to message me through the club.
We will meet at Riverbreeze park 4:00 pm, have a little greet and meet. A few demonstrations and hit the water.
If anybody needs nets or lights you can contact Ron O'Brien for nets or gator tough for lights.
The true value hardware store in Edgewater also sells gator tough lights if you need to pick one up. (This is not a sales pitch, I know this equiptment works and is worth every penny)
A few things we need to know...
We need to know if your on a boat
what equiptment? Lights (how many), dip nets, frame nets. Ect...
    how you like to anchor.
whether or not you have a vhf radio, we monitor channel "68" or if you prefer to use your cell phone
    Spot light
    a camera for your reports.
Im not being nosey, just need to know what we're working with.
This will help us better understand how to help you.
Any questions, please message me through the club and I'll reply as soon as I can. (Daily)
    Thanks,
    ken.
