Hey guys my name is Tom, I live in Orlando. I do a bit of fishing inshore from kayaks as well as my buddies boat both inshore and offshore typically out of New Smyrna and Ponce. Grew up in Miami, been here for about 20 years and trying to get back into fishing like I did when I was a kid. Miami was easy, I am finding it much more challenging to figure out the East Central Coast. And that is. why I am here. Looking forward to learning and sharing

Mac, thanks! My parents live on the intracoastal in Palm Coast, it is part of the man-made section though, haven't really caught anything other than catfish off the dock, and a big paddle up or down towards the more natural areas. I do have 2 Kayaks though and have done some fishing in the lagoon near the cape, mostly caught trout on my couple tries

Tons of Snook in this area (see my reports in the kayak section). I haven’t fished the Palm Coast canals but hear there are lots of Snook prowling them up there.
