Thanksgiving Deer, Al

Nice! I’m not even sure I’m going to get to go again this year.
I went into a panic when I got a Ring alert yesterday afternoon for our cabin. Fortunately deer both times.
Two the first time and three the second.

Here’s an older capture from a video from a 2nd floor window looking down to the driveway. Glare is bad but you can see 3 with one standing in front of the garage door.

 

I need to get my trail cams out back out on some trees. Haven’t had them out for six or more years. Used a feeder in front of cabin for a while before my parents would come visit. They like to watch the bears and deer that would show up. Had to give up on that when the bears started climbing the trees and destroying the feeders.

 

I’ve got a pic of one I’ll have to dig up. It’s a much larger bear but he’s standing straight up on his hind legs with one arm extended out and leaning against a tree. Staring right at the camera. It’s hilarious and looks fake… like someone standing there in a bear costume. Even I would think it’s fake if I didn’t have all the other shots. Everyone who sees it says BS, that’s not a real bear..
