Anyone know a good place to find shrimp traps? I haven't seen any for sale in Central Fl. I really don't see people using them where I summer shrimp, but want to give it a try. The kids like crabbing so even if they only catch a few they will have fun

    Amazon usually has them, too.

Making them is very easy if you have time . If you don't have hog rings you can use zip ties. Man over board bait tackle sells them . Also guy sell them in front of house in Indian harbor.

I've never used a trap for shrimp. Is it effective?

If anyone is interested I have 3 sitting in my backyard I've never used. Homemade from an old salt and are more quality than the ones I see in the stores. I'm in Orlando, send me a message

I have a couple at my brother's house in New Smyrna that I could sell. I'm not using them.

What did you find out about the traps and are they all the same or is there a “brand” that could be recommended?
