    Sharrow Engineering Outboard Loop Propeller

    upload_2019-10-27_20-8-41.png

The Sharrow Propeller™ is a remarkable new, patented loop propeller design that CEO and inventor, Greg Sharrow, claims can out-perform conventional propellers in most major parameters of current propeller measurement. The propeller was developed over 7+ years by Sharrow Engineering LLC, a Philadelphia based nautical and aeronautical design firm.

I have contacted them and sent all my information and am waiting to hear on the recreational prop. They haven’t started selling them yet to my knowledge.

    Good post

Think I’ll stick with tho old fashioned stainless prop for offshore until start seeing them on large center consoles with multiple engines. Lol

Fancy stuff there. I saw it a little while back and thought it was neat.

I'd be curious to know just what the cost would be for one of those props.

As soon as they let me know I will share. I’m on the list for my Yamaha 300.

Just FYI, I did hear back from this company and the Props are $5000.00 each. Not joking. The price was 5 Grand! I responded to them saying that was ludicrous and I will stick with my Yamaha prop and continue paying gas that it burns.

I’ve seen them done for Elec motors and for pedal dive props. Now... if I could talk the wife into one of the multi-million dollar metal printers with built-in cnc mills....
