    What is the average life span of these clamps if you do not maintain them and if you do maintain them. Can't believe how quickly the cheap ones corrode.

    there is no minimum life span, that will be determined on how you clean them and protect them. Salt is hard on everything. after you clean them, spray them with protectant, each and every time you use them.

    with that being said, I seen some three years old and they are still fine.

    I was going to just change mine over to rings and use wingnuts on my batter terminals instead, anyone have a comparisons on which option last longest?
