Took the day off to try to hook into a Cobia or two. No dice, water temp too hot already 74-75 degrees all the way 20 miles north of the Port. Decided to go bend a rod bottom bumping Red snapper everywhere we hit. Got a few nice beeliners then triggers came to the party. My son caught two of the bigger triggers I have ever seen on a butterfly jig. The picture doesn't do it justice cause he is 6'4" and 300 lbs. hunter triggerfish.jpg

Looks like a good day, conditions were favorable.. good that you got to spend a day on the water with your son. Nice trigger. They sure are tasty. Thanks for the report.
