North Turn Restaurant Daytona Beach Shores

I met with 9 other friends for a Thanksgiving dinner here yesterday. I was surprised when only two of us ordered the Turkey dinner! I did and it was very good for $18.00 and included Turkey, mashed potatoes with gravy, stuffing, a dinner roll, cranberry sauce and Apple or Pumpkin pie for dessert. A lot of the folks went for the big Prime Rib but the size looked small to me. I didn't know they have bacon wrapped Scallops here as an appetizer. They looked good; I'll be back to try them myself!
The wait staff was very attentive during our stay. Overall I really enjoyed myself and they also had a country western band playing. They were very good too!

 

A friend had ordered the bacon Wrapped Scallops appetizer.and I made a note to self to try them one day!
I returned on 12-18-2018 and ordered the appetizer.

I was not impressed. The bacon was overcooked-burnt and the scallops were undercooked and tasteless.
The appetizer was $12.99 and the sweet tea was $2.50. Total bill was $16.50 along with a $3.00 tip = $19.50.
I will not give that choice another try! Too bad!
