My name is Philippe and I am a avid Kayak Angler. Preferred fishing would be stalking redfish in remote areas of the lagoon. I fish for Shad, bass stripers and crappie on the St John in the winter and chase Kings and Tarpons in the summer off the beach. I make my own rods, I make my own flies and my Hobie outback is customized with 3 configurations depending on river, flats or Ocean.

All these years I never came across this forum. Thought I'd check it out and see what this is all about. Thanks for letting me in to check it out. c_oc=AQlSRZ4fu2BAbyY3WgjgnIFqI6M97YfZk_BC0424M9YJ7eKE1-zJXJq6iKWOodiEWxQ&_nc_ht=scontent.ftpa1-1.jpg

    Welcome to the forum Philippe.
Glad you found us. Lots of members from this region. I have a boat but I spend most of my time fishing from my kayaks too. I recently got a new Outback and also use a Jackson Coosa FD. We have quite a few other members who also kayak fish. Looking forward to seeing you around and hearing about your trips.
Is the pic above one you took of yourself with a drone?
Would love to see some pics/descriptions of your kayak configurations over in our kayak section. Sam, our site owner loves the DIY and how-to posts.
See below for site rules and tips. You need to make a few more posts and then you will have full access to all the other forums.
