We made it through with no damage in Port Orange. The boat rode it out safely in the shop. Got the yard cleaned up for the most part today. We lost power last night around 11:30. Regained it today around 8am.

Driving around town there was a lot less damage here compared to Mathew last year. The river is really high right now with a lot of damage due to flooding around the river. Lots of sunken boats and damaged docks.

I hope everyone weathered the storm alright. Best wishes.

    No Cable TV
I forgot about my roof antenna until around 3PM daaaa Brain Fart LOL
Just using my roof antenna for news.
No house damage, running on Generator power, using around 15 gallons of gas a day, will need to go buy more tomorrow.
Cut down some trees over the main road this morning.
    Standing water in coverts.
All is OK other then that :)

Hey I have a question. I have an 8000 watt starting 6500 running portable genny. I usually shut her down at night but I am comfy in my little sanctuary. I bought a nice 10000 btu window unit last week during my prepping cause my portable won't run my central AC. So I have a nice cool living room some lights and my fridge. My question is can I run the genny 24/7 without stressing it. Maybe give it an hour or two break tomorrow morning.

Are they built to run 24/7?
