Went fishing with my dad and my wife in Knoxville Tennessee for a short visit to pick up our Jon boat. Caught about 25 Crappie. We had about nine rods slow trolling with little tiny minnows. In about 25 feet of water 63° water temperature. Very different than offshore fishing, but really fun

Looks like lots of fun. Nothing better than a pile of fried crappie fillets. My lure of choice is a little tube crappie jig.
That’s the only thing I miss about our old house on Lanier in GA. This time of year I would be down on our dock loading up on fish like I didn’t have to clean them afterward.

Fishing for crappie can be a lot of fun when you have multiple rods hooked up at the same time. Crappie cook outs are always a blast. I make three different dips to wipe the crappie bites in before they hit the pallet. Thanks for sharing the great pics.

Good looking crappie! Spent most of my adult life fishing the middle Tennessee area and it looks like y’all had a good day!
