    Just a little trick I use for the solder Joint are RAYCHEM Solder Sleeves and a heat gun.

    You mentioned that you bought everything in bulk so it would be cheaper....wondering what this build would cost if someone did NOT build by buying in bulk? Anyone tried it yet? Definitely interested in trying this, still researching it, but certainly looks doable. GREAT Topic for DYI post!

    Very informative, being new to shrimping I look forward to making some of these lights when the time is right. I have to replace the transom on my boat then paint it.
