Recently I have been looking for good bowl of Gumbo! I really like the Cajun and Creole cuisine and have been searching for which restaurant has the best flavors.
For Gumbo I have tried DJ's Deck (Under Dunlawton Bridge), Lost Lagoon (NSB), Off The Hook (NSB), Fire on the Bayou (Orange City) and Orleans Bistro (Titusville). I liked them all! I will keep expanding my search.
    Anyone have any suggestions?
Gumbo is easier to find than Jambalaya but a few of the restaurants mentioned offer both.
Our Deck Down Under (under Dunlawton Bridge) has a decent Jambalaya.
I have made Jambalaya and it came out good! I'll have to try to make my own version of a seafood Gumbo!

I have plans on getting over to the panhanle area and then to Alabama, Mississippi and Louisiana!
It will be mostly for the cuisine of the area including mudbugs!

What restaurant in your area has the best gumbo? Thanks!

The best is Greenacres Convenience Store at 505 E Johnson ave. Dont be turned off by appearance. Its not a dine in place. The gumbo is $35 a gallon.
