Fwc Proposed Flounder Changes

    Please see attached... these are the ideas currently being discussed...

    Minimum size limit change from 12" to 14"

    Bag limit change from 10 to 5 per day

    Possible closure for recreational flounder fishing in November.

    Yup. And few folks can actually find more than 1 or 2 when fishing.

    Up north where we used to fish, I think legal size is 19 inches on a summer flounder.

    Where we used to catch winter flounder (sole) has been fished out, as in none left.

    We did well last week about 1 mile off the beach at Volusia county’s artificial reef site.
