Fun Day 9/8/18 Port Canaveral

    Sorry had trouble uploading pics yesterday.

    My favorite fishing buddy and I headed out around 6:45 with pinfish and pig fish. The mullet run is on so we ran up the beach towards the Bite and filled the livewell with finger mullet. The we hear ed back to the jetty along with several other boats. It was crowded but nobody really catching much. So we picked up and headed towards a different spot. We fished several spots before we caught anything. First 4 fish in boat were flatties. Caught them on finger mullet on a bottom rig #3 hook. Lost a couple of large fish. Just by the fight. It was most likely sting ray and a large shark. My father also got a big red fish. We hooked up 4 sharks of various types. When we decided to go back to the jetty the snook bite was on. They hit the pig fish and pinners right away. Lost 3 and got 1 nice keeper in the boat. All in all a good day but my dad kicked my butt fishing for sure.
