My wife and I are going to start diving this year. My boat has a large Armstrong bracket. Is there a better ladder than the stock one for divers?

A good dive ladder will have open ended rungs so you can use with fins on.

Don't know where you live but you can contact a fabricator
    to make a custom one.

That looks pretty good to me. Open ended, with non skid
What else were you looking for. I have seen a few that retract into the transom of the boat before so its out of site and out of the way but I wouldn’t want to cut a hole in my transom for that.

I never thought sbout an open sided ladder for divers before! My Grady has a fold out one step "ladder" from the small swim platform off the transom. Ialways took off the fins and threw them into the back of the boat befor boarding. I am/was a diver

I have the Armstrong 4 step and would suggest getting a 4 step because dive gear keeps you lower in water it’s easier getting up
